Spectacular Spalted Maple Pen

AII LOCALLY MADE BY US!  This piece is made from Spalted Maple; spalting is simply a fungal discolouration of wood, and can be found on a wide range of wood species.  Maple is a common lumber seen with spalting, as the light coloured sapwood provides good contrast for the spalting.
